A12 Munich – Rosenheim – Kufstein (motorway exit Kufstein south into the entire Wilder Kaiser region – attention: road toll) last exit before charge: Kiefersfelden in direction St. Johann to Ellmau. Take the first exit to Ellmau and follow the street until you reach the municipal office. You have to traverse the crossway at the municipal office and keep straight steep road. After 300 meters the Hotel Bär is welcoming you on the right hand side.

Coming from the Eastern part of Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary

No road toll from Kiefersfelden to Kufstein south:
An exemption of the toll obligation has not been realized since the introduction of it. However there was no control of the compliance with regulation of this section of road and it will not last as the appropriate ministers confirmed until canceled (minimum till summer 2008). This is only valid for motorcars under 3.5 t of weight.
