The unique location of Ellmau at the bottom of the „Wilder Kaiser“, a picturesque mountain range, fulfills all expectations you may have on a wonderful holiday. In the summer Ellmau is a perfect starting point for hiking tours in every difficulty. This variety will cover the expenses of ambitious climbers as well as of unhurried strollers. In the winter Ellmau is very convenient for skiers and snowboarders, due to its ski-runs, which lead directly to the village centre.

 

Apart from these favorable circumstances, Ellmau is well-known for its hospitality.
