Winter fun for children in Ellmau
There is no shortage of fun and games for children in the Wilder Kaiser region, even for the smallest. Whether it is romping in the snow, hazarding their first turns in ski school or enjoying creative programmes that help them to hone their motor skills: in the Wilder Kaiser region, winter fun for children is guaranteed. In addition to the in-house Bär mini-club, other professional child-friendly facilities are also available in Ellmau and the neighboring villages.
ELLMI'S KIDS CLUB
At the upper terminus of the Hartkaiser funicular (1,520 m) in Ellmau, young guests (2 - 6 years) will find a special home for their skiing day. In ELLMI'S Kids Club, great value is placed on individual childcare. A world full of surprises awaits kids here: Protection & safety, action and fun for the youngest ones, skiing taster lessons, snowman building, indoor games, entertainment with Ellmi the magic frog and much more. In the club, the children are supervised after by trained kindergarden teachers.
KIKO SÖLL
The KiKo Söll scores with its various adventure rooms and its highly qualified staff looking after your offspring - thus it will delight not only the youngest ones, but the grown-ups too. Here, children from one year old and until youth will find the perfect setting to enjoy playing to their heart's content and to suit their age. Meanwhile, the parents can enjoy skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing... and when meeting up after the whole family will have a plenty to talk about. The children's granary Söll is open in winter from Sunday to Friday from 09:30 - 16:00 for children.
CHILDCARE ON THE MOUNTAIN: THE SNOW PIRATES
In the neighboring village of Scheffau, full-day care is available from Sunday to Friday at the Scheffau Brandstadl for children aged 9 months and over. This means: Mum and Dad can enjoy their skiing worry-free while their children enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor experiences with the Snow Pirates. So both parents and children can enjoy a fantastic and snowy adventure on the “Wilder Kaiser” - each in their own way.
The Snow Pirates Kids Club is open from Sunday to Friday 09:00 - 16:00. It is located at the mountain station of the 4-person Brandstadl gondola. RELAX LIKE ROYALTY
The Ellmau Kaiserbad (or Emperor’s Baths) is an experience for young and old. With a lazy river, slides, bubble pool and much more on offer, fun is guaranteed. And while the children splash in the water, parents can enjoy a wide range of spa treatments. With heated loungers, steam baths and a log cabin sauna, almost no desire remains unfulfilled.
