Visit the original film locations from the 'Bergdoktor' series with the Wilder Kaiser mountain range as the stunning natural stage.
Fans of the medical drama series 'Der Bergdoktor' should highlight a very special doctor's appointment in their calendar right away. After all, the well-known series, has attracted a television audience of million people since 2008, from Germany to Austria, and is filmed right in Ellmau and in the surrounding venues. As well as a visit to the many original filming locations for the series, you also get to take a look behind the scenes during the 'Bergdoktor' weeks and many other events and get to know the main character who is played by Hans Sigl in person.
BERGDOKTOR FAN DAY WITH AUTOGRAPH SESSION
The highlight of the Bergdoktor week is the fan day, when the actor Hans Sigl himself answers his fans' questions and distributes autographed cards.
ELLMAU FILM HIKE
Between June and October the Ellmau film hike takes place once a month. This good 5-hour hike proceeds past the house of the 'Bergdoktor' and provides interesting insights into the series.
FILM TOUR TO THE GRUBERHOF
Every Wednesday between May and September (also on Tuesdays in July and August) there is a film tour to the Gruberhof, where you can enjoy a tour of the wonderful filming location and a delicious lunch at the Alpengasthof Gruberhof.
THE BERGDOKTOR E-BIKE TOUR
